the incredible restraint i show by playing origins and not romancing zevran. i need a staff for all these demons i’m fighting. i start a conversation with him and i’m fuckin sweating bullets before he’s gotten his first line out. his big, unwavering eyes challenging me, daring me to kiss him. the grey warden really might die here if this goes on. i am so unwell
I wasn’t paid for silence. Not that I offered it for sale, precisely.
Happy Birthday @mattelektras
And once again, most of my favorites ended at the wrong end of the chart. >.>
Am I surprised? No, not really. Am I disappointed? Yes. And not just for the Croatian entry. There were other amazing songs that placed even lower.
The message ESC juries sent this year is quite strong: if your entry is a song with a message and/or a social commentary, we will allow it, but don’t expect any votes from us. The votes from the juries will go to more neutral love songs.
Predictable and understandable. And a missed chance.
Oh well. Congrats to the winner. :) And see you next year!
And the UK, Mae Muller. She’s obviously very popular in the UK. :D But not my favourite this year.
And now to vote!!!!
Slovenia, Joker Out, very good song, I love the energy
And FINALLY, CROATIA! XD LET 3, MAMA ŠČ!!! I can’t say how much I love that song, and no it’s not just because I’m half Croat.
I love Let 3 in all their punk rock amazing craziness. And I love what they did here - I could write an essay about this song, or rather a 3-minute rock opera about dictators who use the world as they toy and ‘go play’ war.
And I’m so glad that this is the first year I can vote!!!
Lithuania, another amazing and personal song, that was added to my personal playlist.
Israel, Noa, phenomen-phenomen- phenomenal
Norway, Queen of Kings, very fitting title. :) She’s amazing.
But not as much as Lords of the Lost. I’ve been screaming this song for two months now! Blooood and glitteeer!
Moldova. Every year, I look forward to their entries, and this year is no exception. I love the atmosphere, lyrics, performance, all.
TVORCHI. Heart of steel. Don’t be scared to say just what you think. This hit too close to home. Reminded me of how I felt, an angry teen who had to run away from home in Croatia.
